(NEW SUCCESS RECIPES) Slow Cooker and Crock Pot Recipes to Nourish & Satisfy!

I’m so excited to share this month’s Success Membership Recipes, designed to keep you inspired and on track with your healthy eating goals!

This month’s theme is Slow Cooker and Crock Pot Recipes to Nourish & Satisfy! 💖

We chose Slow Cooker and Crock Pot Recipes as our theme because we know you’re busy and having these recipes you can “set and forget” will help you get your cooking DONE! ✅

(And many of you requested this theme too – Thanks for your input, we love hearing from you! :))

These recipes feature an abundance of anti-inflammatory and immune boosting ingredients that will encourage weight loss, promote healthy digestion, healthy blood sugars and are also high in many ingredients – like beans and greens – that help to reverse high blood cholesterol and blood pressure.

And remember, if you don’t have a slow cooker, just throw the ingredients in a big pot, put the lid on, and simmer away on the low heat setting.

Mmmmmm!!!

Now let’s get stuck into these hearty, healing recipes!

Here’s a taste of what you can enjoy this month:

Lamb and Pear Tagine

The spices used here like cumin, ginger & coriander are high in antioxidants, have antibacterial and antiviral properties plus are high in trace minerals. This meal is also a classic example of a balanced meal: incorporating a lean protein, a whole grain plus a simple vegetable side in order to nourish the body AND satisfy the palate.

This meal could be a great one for the fussy eaters in your life or a ‘meat and potatoes husband’ to try – just go easy on the spices the first time you make it!

Loaded Vegetable Crock Pot Lasagna

It’s a great idea to incorporate meat-free meals each week and this crock pot vegetable lasagna is a great way to do it!

Opting for a meatless meal generally means you will be incorporating more veggies – which means more minerals, nutrients and fiber in your meals, which in turn means a healthier you. 😊👍 This plant-based meal can help lower blood glucose and cholesterol levels and support your digestive health. This recipe is also a great way to indulge in comfort food that’s nourishing and healing for your body. Enjoy!

Creamy Garlic Chicken with Zucchini Ribbons

We’ve put a healthy twist on this slow cooked creamy garlic chicken dish!

Traditionally, a dish like this would be served with a ton of cream and some kind of cooked pasta. Whilst there is nothing wrong with enjoying some cream and pasta now and then, here is a great example of how you can substitute with more nourishing ingredients – without compromising on flavor!

So for this recipe we’re going to serve it with greek yoghurt over zucchini ribbons! The yoghurt is full of beneficial probiotics for digestive health, calcium and protein. The zucchini ribbons have many nutrients on offer such as vitamin C and potassium and are high in fibre to prevent blood sugar spikes. And of course garlic is a star player in this recipe – with it’s super potent anti-viral, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and anti-cancer compounds – plus a great flavor kick to delight your palate!
