One Pan Skillet Dishes! πŸ‘

These flavorful recipes will show you how to implement quick shortcuts and high impact ingredients so you can save time and still enjoy mouth-watering, healthy meals.

Read on below for some ingredients that will boost the flavor of your dishes in major ways!

βœ…(1) Tomato Pastes and More: Pastes are truly just concentrated flavors that you can keep in the pantry or fridge, and add to your meals to boost the flavor powerfully, without any extra time! There are a wide variety to play with these days, some kinds you might start with could be tomato, curry, harissa, or Korean chili paste.

βœ…(2) Chiles: Not all chiles are created equal, but every last kind is sure to amp up the excitement of your meals. Playing with dried, powdered, fresh and fermented chiles will help you see that this fruit can bring in a whole myriad of different tastes and heat levels, so even if you don’t enjoy a lot of spice, you can still take advantage of this ingredient.

βœ…(3) Vinegars and Acidity: One of the quickest ways to increase the seasoning of a dish is through adding an acidic element! Vinegar packs an incredible punch that will deepen the complexity of other aromatics and balance out the sweeter or richer components. Just a few splashes of vinegar will elevate a dish and harmonize its flavor profiles.

All of this month’s recipes are incredibly versatile, so feel free to experiment and use the ingredients you have on hand as well as the ones we suggest!

Here are some of this month’s recipe highlights:

One Pot Hungarian Beef Goulash

Goulash is a hearty and smokey stew; loaded with chunks of beef and vegetables, and deeply flavored with paprika. Getting in more of this spice can help reduce the risk of cancer and heart disease, improve immunity, and alleviate digestion issues.

For weight loss goals, the meat in this dish along with the starch and fiber from the vegetables, will give you long-lasting fullness that boosts energy and keeps snacking to a minimum!

Skillet Balsamic and Eggplant Lasagna

In this recipe we use eggplant rounds to replace some of the pasta, and increase the antioxidants. Eggplant supports brain and heart health, and can help control blood sugars- making it the perfect balance to the pasta noodles in this dish.

Tofu is the secret ingredient, providing both protein and creaminess. Minced mushrooms replace crumbled beef, so saturated fat levels stay lower, and antioxidant compounds are multiplied! This lasagna tastes like comfort but keeps health goals a priority.

Stovetop Enchilada

This dish will provide you with amazing balanced energy, thanks to the fiber and protein in the brown rice and black beans. Black beans are a great ingredient to get in more if you are looking to lower LDL and reduce the risk of heart disease.

Lean chicken breast is another favorite for heart health, and will support tissue repair. Spices, tomatoes, and chiles round out this dish and help to transform the basic protein into one that will delight the palate while still supporting healthy weight loss.
