These recipes will be your solution on the days you don’t have time for all the prepping, cooking and cleaning up, but still want to keep health goals a priority. 🎉

Check out this month’s videos, all about One Pan Skillet Dishes, below!

Chicken Sausage, Peppers, and Potatoes

We’ve taken the classic combo of sausage and peppers, and transformed it into a one pan, veggie packed meal. Choosing chicken or turkey over pork will reduce saturated fat in this dish, so you can indulge while supporting heart health.

Peppers and potatoes will bring in fiber, potassium and antioxidants- supporting heart health and protecting against cell damage. Kale rounds out the meal and helps keep cholesterol in check, making it the perfect balance for flavor and nourishment!

Skillet Summer Fruit Crumble

Choosing fruits that are high in soluble fiber for this dish will help slow down the absorption of sugars into your bloodstream, so things stay balanced even while enjoying a sweet treat.

Oat flour makes up the base of our topping, another great provider of insoluble fiber. The beta glucan found in this can lower LDL and improve blood sugar control. If looking to indulge while still managing blood sugars, this could be the dessert for you!

Caramelized Onion, Mushroom, Herbed Quinoa

Quinoa, our base here, contains all the amino acids your body needs for tissue repair and steady energy. Mushrooms add extra protein, along with the antioxidant selenium- great for protecting against heart disease and mental decline.

Onions and leeks add immune boosting compounds, while fresh herbs provide nutritional support for the kidneys and liver. Both of which can help decrease bloating, body pain, and other symptoms of inflammation.

I can’t wait to see which of these recipes becomes your weekly go-to, I have a feeling you’re going to be big fans of them all. 😃
