It’s summertime, and strawberry season is in full swing!  Strawberries contain high amounts of antioxidants, which are the key to protecting your cells from the damage of toxins, and sun exposure!.  They also are an excellent source of vitamins C and K, dietary fiber, and flavonoids.  Strawberries can increase your body’s metabolism and protect against inflammation and heart disease.  In other words, they help keep you healthy, disease-free, and looking young!

Quick Serving Ideas:

• Fill some Popsicle molds with a mix of fresh berries and Greek yogurt for a refreshing summer treat.

• Add sliced strawberries, toasted walnuts, and crumbled blue cheese to mixed green salads.

• Mix chopped strawberries with lemon juice, cinnamon, and a touch of maple syrup, and serve as a topping for oatmeal or pancakes.
