Give classic chocolate brownies a makeover with not one but two surprise ingredients!

Black beans contain a host of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that can help you reduce cholesterol, achieve and sustain weight loss, manage blood pressure and reduce blood sugar spikes. They’re a good source of fiber, protein, potassium and folate. When combined with chocolate and natural sweeteners, they make the perfect cake-like base for this sweet treat.

Zucchini’s antioxidant carotenoids, phytonutrients and fiber content can help you to better manage diabetes, digestive issues, high blood pressure and inflammation. Zucchini is an especially good source of manganese which can improve bone health, speed up collagen production for strong skin and improve thyroid health. It’s no wonder versions of this green goddess find their way into so many healthy recipes!
